This class is a survey of the great richness of Jewish tradition and the fundamentals of the Jewish religion. Topics include the four-thousand-year history of the Jewish people, sacred texts, ethics and beliefs, and the theology, liturgy, rituals, holidays and life cycle events which provide a sacred context for Jewish living.
